Short supply hampers home sales in March

Total sales of existing homes, which include completed transactions of single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums, declined 0.6 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.92 million in March from downwardly revised 4.95 million in February, the National Association of Realtors said on Monday.
